One of 1,000 copies. Pablo Montanes was the pseudonym for Pedro Vega, a logger and writer from Teosique, Tobasco. Here he recommends a national park in the highest parts of the Sierra and in the uninhabited watersheds of the Lacandon region. This idea would eventually become the Montes Azules Biosphere Reserve, declared in the Lacandon region in 1978.
