First edition. Adolfo Llanos y Alcazar (1841 - after 1904) was a Spanish poet, journalist and editor. He moved to Mexico in 18;73 and spent the next five years berating the Mexican's that they were not Spanish enough and producing some extraordinary controversies in the journals he edited. He was expelled from Mexico in 1879, wen to New York City and then back to Spain.
This set of poems plus a small play, is attractively printed with the title of every poem in a different ornate type face.
