1908. Four post cards ( 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches) designed by Wilhelm Muller-Hofmann depicting the arts of Sculpture, Painting, Decorative Arts, and Beer Brewing. Postally used, sent from Munich to Pittsburgh in 1908. Near fine condition. (Item ID: 2709)


Wilhelm Muller-Hofmann (1885 - 1948) was a painter, and a teacher at the Vienna School of Arts and Crafts. He lost his post as "an undesirable person" during the Nazi regime. His wife and sons were persecuted as Jews and managed to escape to Sweden.
