Price: $65.00

N.p.: circa 1880. Broadside measuring 8 3/4 x 5 3/4 inches. Printed on pink paper; folded. (Item ID: 1788)

The broadside location is unidentified other than "Opera House, C. B. Jefferson, Manager." Some of the other actors listed are Mrs. John Drew, Frederick Robinson and Maurice Berrymore.

In 1880 Jefferson "made a new acting version of THE RIVALS in which he elevated Bob Acres from a rustic boob to a quaint and whimsical eccentric... This revival of THE RIVALS was made in Philadelphia at the Arch Street Theater, with Mrs. Drew as Mrs. Malaprop." - DAB.

This small broadside was probably for a touring show of the Jefferson / Drew production.
