Boston: circa 1910. A group of 19 collaged puzzles, with answers, housed in a restored box. (Item ID: 3290)

Each puzzle is on a 6 1/2 x 8 1/2 inch black board and is made up of pictorial items cut from magazines and books and pasted to the board. On the verso of each board is a printed number. The cards are housed in a modern box (the original box was badly broken) with the original lid stating "Literary Rebus." Inside the box is an envelope with a drawing of a "Key" containing a slip answering the nineteen rebuses, each of which is the title of a book.

All items are offered subject to prior sale.

Customers will be billed for shipping and insurance at cost. Payment is by check, money order, Visa or MasterCard. Institutions will be billed to suit their needs.

Overseas orders will be sent by air service, insured. Payment from abroad may be made with Visa or MasterCard, a check in U.S. Dollars drawn on a U. S. bank or an international money order.

Items may be returned within 5 days of receipt, provided prior notification has been given. Material must be returned to us in the same manner as it was sent and received by us in the same condition.
